The Dr. Chen lab at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine is seeking a self-motivated postdoc fellow to join our team. Current research in our lab focuses on studying how genetic and epigenetic regulation of cancer cells and cancer stem cells can shape the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment, and reciprocally, how these infiltrating immune cells affect tumor progression and the effectiveness of immunotherapies. For more information on research projects in the lab, please refer to following recent publications (Cancer Cell 2019; Cancer Discovery 2020, cover; PNAS2017; Cell Rep 2021; Trends in Immunology, 2021, cover; Trends in Cell Biology, 2021, cover; Trends Pharmacol Sci 2022; Trends in Cancer 2022, cover; and Cancer Immunology Research 2022) and our webpage: https://sites.northwestern.edu/chenlab/.
The ideal applicants should receive a doctoral degree (PhD or MD/PhD) recently. Experience in cancer biology, tumor immunology and cancer genetics/epigenetics is preferred. Preference will be given to candidates with first-author publications in peer-reviewed journals. Interested applicants please send your curriculum vitae, cover letter, and names and contact information of three references to Dr. Chen at peiwen.chen@northwestern.edu |
